A Tornado from the ISP Perspective

Last spring I was out of town for a long weekend. Being a small shop, I was of course interested in how things were going back home. While checking our online usage graph I saw the following. Needless to say I was concerned about the sudden valley at about 5pm. We should not be going from 42 people online to just 7 in 20 minutes going into the evening peak:

I was about to call back home and try and find out what the hell was goin on and then I took a look at our temperature chart. At about the same time the temperature also fell from 77 degrees to 36 degrees during the same period.

The answer? Seems a tornado was sighted just north of town. Everyone was hiding out in their basements ;-]
